Our Alcohol & Drug Rehab Program
Our Rehab Program Does Things Differently
Clients learn to regain control of their lives
Our drug rehab program clients are not considered, or treated, as “patients” but as “clients”. Our rehab program clients enroll to recover from an illness; addiction is not just something that’s in their head.
There is no such thing as a “victim” in our programs way of thinking. Even if life has dealt one a bad hand of cards, the road out is through personal recognition of responsibility for one’s own condition.

The experienced staff is comprised of Master’s and Doctoral level clinicians who have an extensive working knowledge of treating substance abuse and co-occurring mental health issues.
We seek the root cause and treat the whole person
Our treatment team digs deeper into the underlying causes of the addiction. Co-occurring disorders are frequently at the root of relapses.
Having an addiction, along with a mental health problem, is called a dual diagnosis or having co-occurring disorders. We combine mental health treatment with substance abuse interventions as needed.
We offer therapies for mental health, including those for:
- Post-traumatic Stress Disorder
- Substance Abuse
- Chronic Relapse
- Bipolar Disorder
Clients who have completed the Blu By the Sea program have recovered. They have obtained a new orientation in life. The premise of the Blu By the Sea model is that a former addict can achieve a new life.
If each individual uses the tools they have practiced and learned to use, the Blu By the Sea client can stay well. This is not theoretical. There are three decades of former clients who will swear by it.
The Blu By the Sea programs are more clinically driven than calendar driven; lengths of stay are determined by the person’s level of physical functioning, the drug or combination of drugs to which the client is addicted, medical or psychiatric complications, the client’s response to treatment, and the availability of appropriate continuing care resources in a client’s home community.
A stay of at least 30 days is required to fully complete the program, but it is perfectly reasonable and expected that some may need a longer stay. “It takes as long as it takes.”
Our clients are going through our program to get real tools for real life.
Our non-12-step program is based off modalities and cognitive behavior therapy. We offer over 40 hours of therapy classes per week which consist of group, individual, and family sessions. Medical withdrawal assistance is available on site by our board certified addictionologist and RN.
Our facility consists of private bedrooms with their own private baths. Each room contains a balcony or access to the pool deck. You or your loved one will be able to enjoy access to the pool, Jacuzzi, saunas, as well as meals prepped by a certified chef.
